I am Dr. Kim Day-MacDonald, a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and functional movement.

What that means is that help my patients address the issues that impact  their ability to move properly.

Whether that be muscle weakness, joint mobility restriction, instability, or compensation of other areas of the body...

I identify the problem areas and guide them through what they can do to address these issues because these issues cause... PAIN!

I see some common threads with my back pain patients and that is the reason that I wrote this course...

To share that information with you so that you can be empowered to help YOURSELF in dealing with low back pain and sciatica

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

My patient Stephanie S. says "After re-rupturing my L4-L5 disk, I was unable to walk and completely bedridden.   Kim collaborated with another practitioner and they worked together to find the best treatment options for me.  I was able to avoid surgery and heal my disc as a result of the expertise of both practitioners.  Today I am thankful to say I am back to my normal activity and have no issues with my back.  I consider them both my angels.  In my opinion, Kim is much more than a physical therapist.  She has extensive clinical experience coupled with cutting-edge, holistic knowledge that extends far beyond that of a traditional PT.  I feel blessed to have had Kim on my team for project “heal my back”. I would not be walking today if it were not for her."

My patient Pam M. says "Long term debilitating back pain led me to therapist Kim MacDonald....thankfully.  Her knowledge of the body, acute sense of touch, and knowing where and what treatment was needed was unprecedented.  I am pain free, all due to Kim’s program of building core strength along with a regiment of specific exercises and stretching. This therapist is gifted."

My patient Diane R. says "Kim is a miracle worker! I spent many weeks going to a physiotherapy practice with no improvement in my back pain. Kim assessed me and very quickly identified the issue. She gave me exercises tailor-made for me and very quickly I saw progress. That same pain hasn’t returned in the last 2 years. I am so happy to have found Kim, she knows her stuff!"
